In Berlin I am staying about two kilometres west of the Tiergarten, in the Charlottenburg district.

The Reichstag is in the upper east corner of the Tiergarten and the Brandenburger Tor is at the east border of the Tiergarten.

I’m also very close to the Ku’Damm, which is good because I need a new summer evening jacket and I’ve seen nothing in the States that I liked.

I will be spending also considerable time in the philological library of the Freie Universität Berlin.
