I will post the 5 verbs here each day. Probably the most boring aspect of this method is the proceeding in alphabetical order, but it is an obvious way to measure velocity.

Day 1:

achten: to pay attention; respect; heed
ächzen: to groan, moan [like ache]
anfangen: to begin
ankommen: to arrive; succeed; matter
antworten: to answer, reply

4 of these 5 I already knew but not their full declensions. Off now to memorize!
